It seems that I’m late getting these rankings posted again. But I have an excuse this time: Real life got in the way.
Anyways, this leg saw lots of airport wrangling. I always enjoy seeing the teams trying to work out the best flights on the spur of the moment. I’ll spend an hour with Travelocity trying to figure out the non-stop flight to go home.
This weeks tasks very nice, and I would have loved to try out the Roadblock. I probably wouldn’t do any better than any of the teams did though.
David & Jeff
These two seemed to handle this leg fairly well. They got a decent flight out, and were able to land themselves in a decent spot on the mat. They continue to reveal themselves to be unobservant, but I did get a real kick out of them collecting the 15 minnows out of the wrong holding pen. Still Love these two.
Jon & Al
How can you not love these two. They’ve been running a smart race and show no signs of Killer Fatigue. Plus, there enjoying themselves immensely. Definite Love vide here.
Kelly & Jon
I waffle back and forth on these two. One week I hate them for the childish behavior, and the next I find them amusing with their good natured bickering. This week they fall on the amusing side of the scale, so they go on the Undecided list. But they need to get their act together, or there going to find the butts eliminated.
Millie & Chuck
These two are getting to be very painful to watch. Neither one of them seems to be having fun. Millie is way to strung out to think, and Chuck is to passive to step in and take charge. Many might object to their reaction to Reichen’s announcement, but they are perfectly justified in responding that way if they so choose. If I’m supposed to not belittle your beliefs, then don’t belittle mine. They lost points for the trying to listen in on Reichen & Chip in the airport office though. Run your own race guys. How much time and good will did you waste trying to eavesdrop? I still Like these two, but they are getting to be too difficult to watch.
Reichen & Chip
Their big story this week was their coming out to the rest of the racers. Not sure how much of a surprise this was to the other teams, though. Other than that, they ran a decent leg, only to lose there lead when they got lost on the way to the Pit Stop. There choice to leave the airport for the travel agency was not a wise choice, but it ended up not hurting them since they made up time via a shorter route overall. Still Undecided about these two, but things are looking up.
This week I have 2 Loves, 1 Like, and 2 Undecideds. Things are getting down to the wire now, and every decision counts. Hopefully the teams will be able to make smart ones. See you next time.
