Oh Great! Now we’ll never hear the end of Mirna’s gloating about knocking Rob out of the race. This episode just goes to show that all it takes is a single bad leg to knock you out of this race.
Rob & Amber had played exceptionally well in the first three legs. But this leg, they got bit by a failure to pay attention to details. They were so sure that their problem was order that they failed to even check the spelling on the their signs. That oversight is ultimately what cost them race. Had they paid attention to that small detail, they would have been able to get onto the first charter flight and stay in the lead pack.
Charla & Mirna are obviously the worst of the remaining racers. They trailed the entire leg and only squeezed by Rob & Amber through sheer luck at the Roadblock. Which just means that we have to hear them carry on with their holier-than-thou attitude and continued persecution complex for another week. We can only hope that they leave next week. For the sake of our sanity.As for the “controversy” of the leg, I don’t feel that Amber did anything wrong by trying to deceive Charla & Mirna about the location of the clue. If anything, I blame Charla & Mirna for even thinking they might be telling the truth. If two teams are fighting each other to avoid elimination and one tells the other where the clue alledgedly is, who’s fault is it if you do what they suggest.I’m a little disappointed that Rob & Amber are out of the race. If nothing else, they added a little bit of color to the proceedings. Let’s all hope for a Charla & Mirna elimination next week.
