Uchenna & Joyce were the only Amazing Race winners back for All Stars, but all their previous experience couldn’t help them overcome a bad flight choice.

Uchenna & Joyce started the race keeping a low profile and running the in the middle of the pack. With Rob & Amber out of the picture in Argentina, they became the team to beat, despite their erratic performance.

Ultimately, it was their willingness to take a chance on a close connection that cost them the race. A 45 minute lead at the beginning of a leg can evaporate faster than sweat on a hot, summer sidewalk. But they never got a chance to experience that, as their 60 minute layover got squeezed to 45 minutes, and they missed their connection.

Were they the best team in the race? Probably not, but they were certainly All Stars.
