Kate & Pat fill two slots on this race as “token old people” and “token homosexual” team. I’ll state up front that I don’t like them for that second reason. You can leave all the hate mail you like in the comments, but you aren’t going to change my opinion on that. However, I do have a strong respect for the racing of many previous teams including Bill & Joe and Canny & Oswald. We’ll have to see if they have the racing prowess to join that club of elite racers.
