All Stars Elimination Report: Oswald & Danny
Once again, Danny & Oswald find them selves out in 4th place. They ran a good race up until two weeks ago where they finally broke down and hit bottom. And they were never able to pull themselves back up.

Note: Better late than never.
Uchenna & Joyce were the only Amazing Race winners back for All Stars, but all their previous experience couldn’t help them overcome a bad flight choice.
This week’s episode saw a sad farewell to an enjoyable team. Joe & Bill’s second race (almost) around the world came to an unfortunate end in Poland this week where a combination of bad race design, a few bad choices, and a dose of bad luck all conspired to bump them out of the race. But they gave us an enjoyable 7 episodes worth of racing, and for that we can be thankful.
Teri & Ian met there demise with a fair amount of grace. But the path that led them to the mat was more than a little bit tense.
In their original run in TAR3, Teri & Ian struck a lot of viewers as overly abrasive. According to post-race interviews, that was partly due to Ian having quit smoking right before leaving on the race. That can certainly make you cranky.
Three legs into this race, Rob & Amber seemed to be the team to beat. They had 3 first place finishes, and hadn’t made a mistake. But this last leg everything seemed to go bad for them.
They chose the more difficult detour option; made a mistake on it that they never realized; switched to the other detour option; went the wrong way; ended up on the last charter flight; headed in the wrong direction looking for the clue; and ended up on the next to last boat out to the island.
Episode 3 saw the departure of everyone’s favorite Kentucky coal miners, David & Mary. I’ll state up front that I like David. He seems like a good guy who tries his hardest. He was even able to overcome his fear of water and fish this week. Mary, on the other hand, is a different matter.
Mary and Mirna are a lot alike. They both have a “you owe me” attitude. And while Mary’s isn’t quite as in your face as Mirna’s, it is definitely there. This was evidenced last week by her interview where she says that she is no longer friends with Mirna & Charla because they passed her on the highway.
