From the moment I these two introduced themselves, they rubbed me the wrong way. They promised to use there good looks and feminie wile to get them what they needed. What they didn’t bother to tell us was that Eve would be using her tears the most.
My dislike of these two started before the race even got out of the country. There panhandling in the Miami airport was needless and seemed to be done simply to show that they could make guys give them money. This might have been a smart idea race-wise, but it certainly didn’t gain them any good will among the other teams, or the viewers.
Justice was quick to repay these two when, in the very first episdoe, Heather gets uncerimoniously dumped on her face by the donkey pulling their cart. I wonder if she learned anything? From this point on, Heather seems to be a pretty decent racer. She does have a few lapses here and there, but she mostly leaves the really annoying behaviour to Eve.
Speaking of Eve, she is one of the most annoying characters I have ever seen on The Amazing Race. If there was ever a person who was not emotionally prepared for a race around the world, Eve is the one. She cries at every obstacle they encounter. Have to jump out f an airplane? Crocidile tears. Going to miss a bus? More tears. Been eliminated for not understanding the English language? Still more tears.
Which brings us to the Reading Comprehension section of the race. No matter what has been said after the fact, Heather & Eve screwed up their final clue. When they realized it said “walk” instead of “take a cab”, they did nothing to correct their mistake. Instead they rationalized their choice and got themselves a one way ticket to Sequesterville.
My final thoughts? These two need to stop blaming their camera man and claiming there was a conspiracy and accept the fact that they made a mistake. Oh, and be sure to let me know which law firm you work for so I’ll know which one not to use.
These two friends seem to have an unusual relationship. Flo spends most of her time screeching at Zach. And Zach seems to spend a lot of his time trying to ignore her screeching. I’m not sure how long these two will be able to maintain that kind of arrangement and still be successful in the race.
From what we’ve seen on screen, Zach seems like a pretty nice guy. He’s only half in the Anti-Twin alliance and seems to taunt the Twins more in a spirit of fun than spite.
Flo, on the other hand, seems to be firmly entrenched in the Anti-Twin alliance. I think she needs to get away from Aaron & Arianne and just run her own race.
I’m kinda mixed on this team. I’d like them to hang around since Zach seems like a nice guy. But if they were eliminated, I wouldn’t have to listen to Flo whine. Maybe they’ll stay for another couple legs. And who knows, if Aaron & Arianne get the boot, maybe Flo will come to her senses.
This team has been referred to by many people as the Will & Grace team of The Amazing Race 3. Aaron is gay; Arianne is straight; they’re best friends; she wants to have his baby.
Whatever. There are somethings I just don’t need to know.
In the race, these two seem to have a lot of Twin envy. They spend most of their screen time carrying on about how their gonna “get the Twins” and being on a “Twin Hunt”. Yawn. Why don’t you two shut up and race already.
As of the end of Leg 4, this team sits in last place. But with the teams bunched so tightly arriving at the pitstop, that probably won’t last. I can only hope they run into trouble in this next leg and get eliminated. Then I won’t have to hear about the Twin obsession these two have developed.
CBS played up the whole Baptist father, gay cheerleader son angle on these two. But it seems that Dennis & Andrew didn’t feel like playing along. Watching these two, it seems obvious that Andrew is gay. But their issues are more father-son related.
I enjoyed these two a lot, and it was only a run of bad luck in Cancun that knocked them out of the race. Wish they could have stayed. There are plenty of other teams I would rather see eliminated.
Ah, the much maligned Twins. At the beginning of the race, these two seemed to come of as dumb yet lovable as they made some questionable decisions. Leaving the luggage in the cab was probably not real smart, but it didn’t seem to cost them too much.
After the first leg, however, they grabbed the fast forward, and shot into first place, a position they held onto all the way through Leg 3. They have slipped into 4th after the most recent leg in Portugal, but their still in the top half of the standings. I’m looking for these two to go far, if for no other reason than to bug Aaron & Arianne.
The Fireman and the Policeman, also known in some circles as FireCop. Leg 4 was really the first time we got to see much of them. They seem like smart guys, and as demonstrated in the Portugal leg, they know how to drive.
They have been hanging around the back half of the pack up to this point. Flight selection seems to be haunting them. Hopefully they can make up for these problems in the upcoming legs. Their seems to be a fair amount of driving, which is something these two should excel at. Looking forward to seeing more of these two.
