Season 14 Racers Revealed

CBS has updated their Amazing Race website this morning and revealed the racers for the season 14. Check out the group and let me know which ones you think have what it takes to win.

Welcome to the New Site

Welcome one and all to the newly renovated site!

I have spent some time over the last couple weeks updating the look of the site. I’ve been trying for something that is easy to read, nicely organized, and good looking. I think I’ve hit all those marks with the new site. Let me know what you think of the design and navigation of the new site. I’d love to hear your feedback.

Until next time, have a great day!

Keep Up with The Amazing Race via Twitter

For all you tweeters out there, you can now get instant updates about new posts on the site through Twitter. All updates to the site will be posted to Twitter along with other random thoughts and opinions. You may even find me commenting on aspects of the race during the episodes if I have my phone handy. Hope to see you there!

Looking Ahead to Season 14

Season 14 of the Amazing Race is just over a month away. I’m looking forward to it being back on the air. It’s been a dismal month for TV since it and Survivor went off the air. So, to introduce some spice into all our lives, I’m looking for suggestions on where you think the race is going this time around.

No spoilers, please. I and many others like to watch the episodes fresh without knowing what will happen.

I’ll start the speculation: They’ll start and end somewhere in the United States. I’m going to guess San Diego.

Nick and Starr Win the Amazing Race 13

After racing 30,000 miles across 5 continents, Nick & Starr beat Ken & Tina to the finish mat in Portland, OR. It was an exciting episode with lots of opportunity for teams to excel and shake up the standings. Ken & Tina made a strong case for winning the race, but in the end lost time searching the 150 clue boxes. Nick & Starr took advantage and sprinted ahead, never looking back.

Andrew & Dan continued their bumbling ways, finding a lousy cab driver, and removing themselves from contention so early in the race, that they were off screen for half the episode. Made for a nice change from previous weeks where we had to listen to them argue and bumble their way through the legs.

With this race over, it’s time to celebrate the holidays, then start looking forward to the premiere of season 14. Until then, Merry Christmas!
