Racer Preview: Anthony and Stephanie

Anthony & Stephanie are one of the 5 couples on the race this season. These two are using the differences in their cultural backgrounds as their hook for the season. He’s Italian. She’s Greek. And that causes them to butt heads. Not the most original of hooks, but it got them on the show.

Stephanie has plenty of motivation to do her best. Anthony has promised to propose to her if they make it through the Race. Of course, it could also be a strong reason for him to throw the race. I’m not sure that winning a reality television competition is the benchmark I’d use for deciding to marry someone. But it seems to be working for Rob & Amber.

These two seem likable enough if they can keep the bickering to a minimum, they ought to be watchable.

Amazing Race 13 Teams Revealed

CBS has revealed the teams for the next season of The Amazing Race. Looks to be the usual mix of people. More thoughts on the individual teams later. What are your first impressions of them?

Teasers for Season 13 from Van Munster himself

Entertainment Weekly got some tidbits on The Amazing Race 13 straight from the horse’s mouth. We’ll being seeing a couple 20-something teams, and the requisite older couple as well. Something to look forward to until everything premieres on Sept 28th.
